The Mon Project Phase 2 is part of the Yangla Adventist Church’s ongoing mission to support Ministerz of the gospel and local families with essential transportation needs, particularly in coastal areas where motor canoes are vital for livelihood and travel.
The church extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers and invites further community partnerships for future initiatives. God bless our efforts has we continue to serve His Mission in this part of region.

Gagidu, Finschhafen – January 18, 2025
On the morning of December 25th, 2024, a group of 30 Adventist students and 8 elderly members from Siassi embarked on a remarkable journey that would test their faith, resilience, and unwavering trust in God. The group set sail on a motor canoe named Mon, making the perilous journey across the rough seas of the Vitiaz Strait and Bobongara to attend the 1st Biannual Convention of the Fisika Adventist Students Association at Finschhafen Technical School in Gagidu town.

Minister Steven Mark has conducted a Discipleship Training for church members and leaders in the church. The attendees were from all around the iisland from our branch churches. After the Discipleship training, the church leaders around Siassi Island had been given the Tok Pisin bible and Picture roll given by MM, SSPM department for the movement of the gospel on the Island. Thank you.
