Yangla, June 27, 2025 – The Yangla Adventist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Pris Kipongi, successfully executed Phase 2 of its Mon(Motor Canoe) Project on June 26, 2025. The initiative saw Catholic and Lutheran youths from Aromot Island travel on three motor canoes (Mon) to Bunsil, where they assisted the Adventist church in manually pulling one Mon from inland to the coastal shoreline of Bunsil.

The project showcased remarkable cooperation, as youths from different denominations worked together in manual labor, hauling the heavy canoe across challenging terrain. Their joint effort not only accomplished the task but also strengthened bonds between the island’s Christian communities.

Pastor Kipongi praised the collaboration, saying, "This was more than just moving a canoeβ€”it was about churches uniting for a common purpose.

When we set aside differences and serve together, we reflect Christ’s love in action."

The Mon Project Phase 2 is part of the Yangla Adventist Church’s ongoing mission to support Ministerz of the gospel and local families with essential transportation needs, particularly in coastal areas where motor canoes are vital for livelihood and travel.

The church extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers and invites further community partnerships for future initiatives. God bless our efforts has we continue to serve His Mission in this part of region.
